Meet Tim Reneau
Hello! I'm Tim, a passionate photographer, nature enthusiast, and proud Army veteran. At the age of 39, I've walked diverse paths in my life – from being a dedicated spouse and a proud parent of two beautiful children to serving in the Army, and later, finding my calling in the world of nature photography.
The outdoors have always been my sanctuary. Whether it's hiking remote trails in search of that elusive shot or camping under the stars with my family, nature is my solace. Through my lens, I aim to capture the timeless beauty and moments of wonder that our world so generously offers.
My journey hasn't been without its challenges. In 2021, I faced a significant setback when I was involved in a car accident that resulted in a concussion. The lingering effects of that incident made it difficult for me to continue in my career as an IT engineer, a field I had dedicated myself to for years. But in the wake of that adversity, I found a silver lining. Unable to return to the world of IT, I embraced my love for photography, turning it from a passion into a profession.
Serving in the Army taught me values of discipline, perseverance, and resilience – qualities that have been instrumental in my transition from IT to photography. Every photo I take is not just a representation of the beauty I see but also a testament to my journey of rediscovery and resilience.
This website is my canvas. It's where I showcase my work, share my experiences, and connect with fellow nature enthusiasts and photographers. Whether you're here to purchase a print, delve into a blog post, or simply to explore, I'm grateful for your visit. I hope my story inspires you in some way, just as nature inspires me every day.
